Instructions For Using This Tool

You can enter data of as many as 10 agencies. The data you need to know before starting this calculator:

Radios that are owned by the agency
Percentage of radios used out of the total
PTT per radio (optional), otherwise default value of 6 is used
PTT duration (optional), otherwise default value of 5 is used
Hang time (optional), otherwise, 0.2 seconds is used as the default
Queue time (Time waiting before talk permit tone), otherwise 1 is used as the default
Grade of service (GoS) percentage, otherwise 1 percent is the default value.
Number of radios per FDMA frequency (it can range from 377-385)
Number of radios per TDMA frequency (it can range from 647-714)
